Apple Bourbon Pulled Chicken Sliders

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 package Campbell’s Slow Cooker Sauces Apple Bourbon Pulled Pork
  • 9 sliders buns
  • 9 slices cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
  1. COOK CHICKEN: Place chicken breast in the slow cooker. Pour the Campbell’s Slow Cooker Sauces Apple Bourbon Pulled Pork over chicken.
  2. Cover and cook for 4 hours on low. Remove chicken and shred using two forks (or stand mixer). Put chicken back in slow cooker, toss with sauce and cook another 1 to 2 hours, or until cooked throughout. Measure 2 cups chicken for the recipe and reserve the rest for future use.
  3. MAKE SLIDERS: Preheat oven to 325F degrees. Spray a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray and set aside. Combine butter, garlic and poppy seeds.
  4. Place the bottom half of 9 sliders buns at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Place cheese on top of bun in baking dish.
  6. Top cheese with shredded chicken and place slider bun on top of each.
  7. Brush tops of buns with garlic butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
